Etienne Millon has a diverse work experience in the software development industry. In 2009, they began their professional career as a Research Engineer at EADS, where they worked until 2012.
In 2015, they joined Cryptosense as a Senior Software Engineer. During their time there, they focused on developing tools for smart fuzzing and dynamic analysis of cryptographic APIs like PKCS#11 or OpenSSL. Etienne remained with Cryptosense until 2018.
From 2018 onwards, Etienne has been working at Tarides. Initially, they started as a Software Engineer and later progressed to the role of Team Lead. In their current position, they lead a team of six people responsible for creating and maintaining developer tooling for the OCaml language. This includes projects such as a build system, code formatter, package manager, and developer documentation systems. Additionally, the team works on delivering custom features to paying customers.
Etienne Millon began their education in 2006 at the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble. During their time there, they pursued a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, which they completed in 2009. Following their graduation, Millon furthered their education at Pierre and Marie Curie University, where they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science. Etienne dedicated five years to their doctoral studies, completing their degree in 2014.
