Beatrice Nkundwa

Beatrice Nkundwa is an accomplished freelance journalist currently contributing to New Canadian Media since June 2023, while also serving as a researcher at the African Studies Centre Leiden since September 2022. In addition, Beatrice volunteers as an interpreter for Tarjimly and has extensive experience as a translator and teacher within Interpretation Translation and Teaching since 2006. Beatrice holds various educational degrees, including a Bachelor's in Italian Studies and a Minor in Classical Studies from York University, alongside numerous certificates in diverse fields such as human rights, teaching English as a second language, and several diplomas in administrative assistance, floral design, and nutrition. Beatrice's language proficiency spans English, French, Kirundi, and Spanish, alongside studies in Russian and German, demonstrating a strong commitment to academic and professional development.
