Erin Seipke-Brown has over two decades of experience in the field of sign language interpretation, currently serving as a Sign Language Interpreter at Bloomfield Hills Schools since May 2001, holding RID Ed: K-12 certification and EIPA assessment for both secondary and elementary education. In addition to this role, Erin has been mentoring aspiring educational interpreters since May 2015, focusing on skill development and personalized practice plans. Erin also works as a freelance workshop presenter and trainer, organizing professional development for educational interpreters in collaboration with various organizations to secure necessary certification units. Previous experience includes roles as a Video Relay Interpreter for Sorenson Communications and leadership positions with the Bloomfield Hills Association of Educational Interpreters and Interveners. Erin holds a Master's of Arts in Interpreting Studies from Western Oregon University, complemented by a Graduate Certificate in Educational Interpreting, a Bachelor's Degree in Sign Language Studies from Madonna University, and an Associate's Degree from Oakland Community College.
