Mike Gasparovic has a diverse work experience in the chemical industry. Mike started their career as a Chemist at Allied Signal Inc, where they were responsible for quality control and maintenance of lab equipment. Mike then moved on to Kansas Polymer Research Center, Pittsburg State University, where they worked as a Research Associate. Here, they received a research grant to develop a process for hydroxylating soybean oil for use in polyurethane systems. After that, they joined Martin Surfacing Inc. as a Lead Chemist, where they developed new technology for surfacing systems and oversaw manufacturing design and processes. Currently, Mike holds the position of VP Plant Operations and R&D at Beynon Sports (A Tarkett Sports Company). In this role, they provide overall guidance and direction for research and development, manufacturing operations, international sales, customer relations, and technical services. Mike is also responsible for product development, business strategies, and building customer and supplier relationships.

Mike Gasparovic has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Pittsburg State University, which they obtained from 1992 to 1996. Mike also pursued Graduate School at Pittsburg State University in Polymer Chemistry from 1996 to 1997. In addition to their formal education, Mike Gasparovic has obtained certifications in Business Leadership from London Business School in 2017 and in Building Materials from Bayer in 2009.
