Fredy Llano

Fredy Llano has extensive work experience in data strategy, architecture, and business intelligence. Fredy currently serves as the Principal Data Architect at Tarkett Sports | North America, where they are responsible for setting up the data strategy and architecture from scratch. Prior to this role, they worked as the Director of Data Strategy at Green Shield Canada (GSC) and held various positions at Notified, Nasdaq, Adastra, École Polytechnique de Montréal, Sura, Trebol Software, and Sistemas Expertos. Throughout their career, Fredy has managed teams, collaborated with cross-functional teams, and developed advanced analytical solutions using AI/ML approaches. Fredy has also been involved in research, prototype development, and technical writing.

Fredy Llano holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Polytechnique Montréal, which was completed in 2011. Fredy also obtained a Master's degree in Innovation Management from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in 2005. Additionally, Fredy holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidad de Antioquia, completed in 2001. Fredy has also pursued further education and certification in the field of Data Science, including a Certificate in Data Science from Sheridan College in 2019 and various certifications from Microsoft, Google, Coursera, IBM, and the Project Management Institute.
