David Sutton

David Sutton, Ph.D. is an accomplished academic professional with extensive experience in the field of English education. Currently serving as an Associate Professor of English at Tarrant County College since January 2003, David specializes in teaching rhetoric and courses such as First-Year Composition, Literature, and Technical Writing. In addition to teaching, David holds various roles including e-Faculty Coach and Master Reviewer with QM Quality Matters, where responsibilities include ensuring compliance with quality standards and delivering professional development for faculty. David also teaches adjunct courses at Collin College and Southern New Hampshire University, and has held positions at Texas Christian University, Dallas County Community College District, and Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD, among others. David earned a Ph.D. in Rhetoric from Texas Woman's University and has made significant contributions to curriculum development, student mentorship, and educational grants throughout a diverse career in academia.
