Lauren Gardner

Lauren Gardner, OD, MSL, serves as a Senior Medical Science Liaison at Viridian Therapeutics, Inc., since May 2025, and has held a similar position at Tarsus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since August 2022. Previously, Lauren was a Medical Optometrist at Superior Vision from July 2017 to September 2022, and completed various optometry externships across multiple organizations between 2016 and 2017. Lauren also contributed as an Associate Instructor at Indiana University School of Optometry and Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, teaching courses related to optometry and general biology. Lauren earned a Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University School of Optometry and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
