Murat Karabatur

Murat Karabatur has a wealth of work experience spanning over 25 years. Murat began their career in 1993 as a Project Leader and Senior Software Engineer at EBS, Inc. In 1995, they moved to NewNet, Inc. as an Engineering Manager. At ADC NewNet, they held the roles of Product Manager, Short Message Service and Manager, Research & Development from 1997 to 2000. After that, they co-founded and became Managing Partner of StoneBazaar, LLC. In 2004, they joined Cenicon, LLC as the COO. In 2007, they became VAS Program Manager at AVEA. From 2012 to 2021, they were Head of Mobile Division at ÖLÇSAN A.Ş. and then VP of Customer Success and GM 11Sight Turkey at 11Sight. Most recently, they have been an IoT Evangelist & EMEA Business Development at Tartabit, LLC since 2021.

Murat Karabatur received their BSc in Electrical Engineering from Boğaziçi University between 1987 and 1991. Murat then went on to obtain their MSc in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University between 1991 and 1992. After this, they attended Columbia Business School from 1998 to 2000, where they obtained their MBA. Prior to this, Murat attended Istanbul Alman Lisesi from 1978 to 1986. In addition to their educational qualifications, they also hold a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
