Peeter Padrik is a prominent figure in the fields of oncology and biotechnology, currently serving as the CEO and Founder of Antegenes since June 2018, where the focus is on developing innovative genetic tests for complex diseases utilizing polygenic risk scores technology. Concurrently, Padrik holds multiple roles at Tartu University Hospital, including Medical Oncologist, Head of the Clinic of Hematology & Oncology, and Director of the Cancer Center. Additionally, Padrik serves on the Supervisory Board of the cancer treatment charity "Kingitud Elu," which aids Estonian patients in accessing necessary cancer treatments not covered by state health insurance. As an Associate Professor of Oncology at the University of Tartu since September 2016, Padrik contributes to academia while holding a Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine from the University of Tartu, as well as a Doctor of Medicine from the same institution.
