Stuart McDonald

Stuart McDonald has over 20 years of work experience in various financial and leadership roles. Stuart currently serves as the President & CEO of Taseko Mines Limited since July 2021. Prior to this, they were the President of the same company from June 2019 to July 2021. Stuart also held the position of CFO at Taseko Mines Limited from September 2013 to June 2019.

Before joining Taseko Mines Limited, Stuart served as the CFO & Senior Vice President at Yukon Zinc Corporation from 2010 to January 2013. Stuart was also the Chief Financial Officer at Quadra FNX Mining Ltd. from 2007 to 2010. Stuart started their career as a Corporate Controller at Cumberland Resources Ltd. from 2004 to 2007.

Stuart's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Manager at Deloitte & Touche from 2000 to 2004.

Throughout their career, Stuart has demonstrated expertise in financial management and strategic leadership.

Stuart McDonald's education history includes completing a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) degree at The University of British Columbia from 1990 to 1994. After that, they pursued a CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of BC until 1997.
