Ziad Ahmed-Zeki has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ziad started their career in 2007 as a Senior Auditor at Wise Lord & Ferguson. Following this, from 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Finance Manager at MyState Limited, handling management accounting and analysis, financial and regulatory reporting. Ziad then advanced to become the Group Financial Controller at MyState Limited from 2013 to 2017, where they were responsible for the Group's retail banking and wealth management arms. Additionally, they served as the ERP Project replacement lead from 2017 to 2019 at MyState Limited. From 2019 to 2021, they joined TasNetworks, where they held roles as the Commercial projects & Finance Business Partnering Leader and later as the Acting Leader - Finance Group. Currently, they are working at Tassal Group, starting in 2021, as the General Manager Commercial Finance and recently transitioning to the role of Head of Finance.
Ziad Ahmed-Zeki has a Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Tasmania, which they obtained in 2007. Ziad later pursued a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, completing it from 2007 to 2010. In 2018, Ziad obtained the Prince2 certification in Project Management from ILX Group. Ziad also holds additional certifications as a Chartered Accountant and Prince2 Project Management Practitioner.
