Wendy Barron

Wendy Barron possesses a wealth of experience in information technology and leadership roles across various state agencies in Texas. Currently serving as the Treasurer and a Board Member for TASSCC since September 2022, Barron also holds the position of Chief Information Officer at the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles since November 2019, having previously served as the Deputy Chief Information Officer. Prior experience includes serving as the Information Technology Director and Project Manager at the State Office of Administrative Hearings from May 2016 to October 2019, as well as holding various roles, including Information Technology Director, at the Texas Water Development Board from July 2000 to April 2016. Barron's educational background includes a Master of Public Administration from Texas State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems from the same institution, along with prior studies at Texas A&M University.
