Caroline Nderitu

Caroline Nderitu has a strong background in human resources, with their most recent position being the Head of Human Resources at Tata Chemicals since September 2022. Before that, they worked as the Human Resources Manager at Unga Group Ltd from December 2021 to September 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Global Talent Sourcer at One Acre Fund from May 2021 to November 2021. From 2011 to 2021, they held various human resources roles at Nestlé, including Lead Human Resources Business Partner and Compensation & Benefits/Payroll Specialist. Caroline also worked as a Human Resources Manager at Diversey Eastern & Central Africa Limited from 2003 to 2011.

Caroline Nderitu has a diverse education history spanning several institutions and fields of study. Caroline attended State House Girls High School from 1986 to 1989. In 1990, they enrolled at Kenyatta University and graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree, majoring in French and Philosophy. Following this, Caroline pursued a Diploma in Business Management at the Kenya Institute of Management, completing the program from 1999 to 2000.

In 2007, Caroline Nderitu pursued an Executive MBA in Human Resource Management at Moi University, which they completed in 2008. Caroline then enrolled in the Tata Senior HR Leadership Program at Cambridge Judge Business School in 2023.

Additionally, Caroline Nderitu has acquired various certifications related to leadership and human resources. These certifications include Coaching Skills for Leaders and Managers, Human Resources: Using Metrics to Drive HR Strategy, Change Management: Roadmap to Execution, HR as a Business Partner, Coaching Employees through Difficult Situations, Having Difficult Conversations, Human Resources: Leadership and Strategic Impact, Inclusive Leadership, Leadership Strategies for Women, Leading with Emotional Intelligence, Strategic Thinking, and Talent Management. These certifications were obtained from LinkedIn.

Caroline Nderitu also participated in the Nestlé Women in Leadership Programme at GIBS Business School (Gordon Institute of Business Science) in 2019.
