Soumen Sensarma

Soumen Sensarma holds a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from the National Chemical Laboratory and has extensive experience in the field of materials research. Currently serving as the Head at TCGLS since June 2017, Soumen focuses on developing new catalysts and processes for polyolefin research, biopolymers, and advanced materials, while also translating inventions into innovations as part of the senior management team. Previously, Soumen held the position of Senior Scientist at Tata Chemicals and worked as a Scientist at GE India Technology Center. Additional experience includes roles as a Research Fellow at DSM Research in the Netherlands and the National Chemical Laboratory, as well as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Ottawa.
