Milind Shahane

Milind is the Chief Executive Officer of Tata ClassEdge since April 2018. Mr. Shahane has been with the Tata group for 28 years and has held senior leadership roles in various Tata Companies including Voltas and Telcon. Prior to joining Tata ClassEdge, he was working as Sr. VP – Projects, with Tata Industries, a position he has from January 2016. During his tenure with Tata Industries, he was involved in investment decisions in the Manufacturing, Materials, Engineering and Supply Chain space for the Group.

Milind has also served as a Director on the Boards of numerous companies of the Tata Group and was the MD and CEO of Drive India Enterprise Solutions Ltd. (DIESL), from 2012 to 2015, wherein he was instrumental in the turnaround of the company through its most challenging period. Milind has done his B. Tech in Chemical from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, MS in Chemical Engineering from the Syracuse University, USA, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, where he was a gold medallist. He is currently based out of Mumbai and is associated with leading management institutes like JBIMS, Welingkar, MET as a visiting faculty for Sales, Marketing, Strategy, Operations and General Management Studies.
