Ashutosh Jha

Ashutosh Jha is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in materials development and sustainability within the automotive industry. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Materials EV & Sustainability at Tata Motors since August 2018, Ashutosh leads initiatives focused on new materials development and sustainability strategies for both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) applications. Prior to this role, Ashutosh worked as a Research and Development Engineer at Honda Cars India Ltd, specializing in organic material research, and as a Product Development Engineer at BASF, where responsibilities included the development of various polymeric materials. Ashutosh's early career includes training at Lohia Group and Lohia Corp Ltd, where projects focused on material replacement strategies. Academically, Ashutosh is pursuing an M. Tech. in Electric Vehicle Technology at MIT ADT University, and holds an Engineer's Degree in Chemical Technology from the Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology.
