Harshal Jagtap

Harshal Jagtap is a Senior Manager of Environment & Sustainability at Tata Motors since February 2024, responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental laws, managing permits, audits, and certification processes, and engaging with regulatory authorities. Prior to this role, Harshal served as a Senior Associate for ESG and Sustainability at Pravin Masalewale, monitoring environmental practices across nine manufacturing units in India and managing carbon emission reduction strategies. Earlier experiences include working as an ESG Consultant at SG Analytics, focusing on sustainability research and stakeholder reporting, and completing internships at Vasantdada Sugar Institute and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, where Harshal gained hands-on experience in environmental compliance and treatment processes. Harshal holds a Bachelor's degree in Botany/Plant Biology and a Master of Science in Environmental Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
