Syed Wasi Ul Hasan

Syed Wasi Ul Hasan has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Syed Wasi began their career in 1991 as an Accounts Officer at Pakistan National Shipping Corporation. After working there for thirteen years, they joined Nalco, An Ecolab Company, as a Finance Manager from 2006 to 2008. Syed then moved on to KPMG Taseer Hadi & Co., where they worked as a Manager in Business Tax Advisory for eight years. In 2016, they joined TATA PAKISTAN, initially as the Head of Taxation & Insurance for a short period and then as the Vice President and Head of Group Tax.

Syed Wasi Ul Hasan pursued their education in a chronological manner. From 1989 to 1991, they attended Karachi University and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a focus on B Com. Following this, they enrolled at the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMA Pakistan) from 1993 to 1999 and completed their FCMA degree, specializing in Finance and Financial Management Services. Concurrently, they also pursued a Master's degree (M Com) from 1994 to 1996 through the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, with a field of study in Business/Commerce, General.
