Asim Kumar De is an accomplished professional with over 36 years of extensive experience in project construction, commissioning, operation, maintenance, and planning within the power sector. Currently serving as Chief Corporate Operations at Tata Power since March 2017, Asim has previously held significant roles, including CEO of Sasan Power Ltd., where oversight was provided for India's first integrated power plant with a capacity of 3960 MW. During tenure as Station Director at Rosa Power of Reliance Power, successful construction and commissioning of four 300 MW units were achieved in record time. Asim’s career commenced at NTPC Limited, progressing through various capacities for 28 years. Educational qualifications include a B.Tech in Instrumentation Technology and a B.Sc in Physics Honours, both from Calcutta University.
