Shankar Anappindi

Shankar Anappindi has extensive experience in human resources, with their most recent role as the Head of Talent Acquisition for SBG Services at Tata Projects since June 2021. Before that, they served as the Assistant Vice President of HR at Urbanrise from August 2018 to August 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President of HR at Inditrade Capital Limited from January 2013 to April 2018. Shankar also worked as the Assistant General Manager of HR at Ramky Estates & Farms Ltd from April 2011 to January 2013. Their earlier experience includes serving as Senior HR Manager at Karvy Fintech between October 2002 and April 2011. Shankar began their career as an Executive in HR at Saras India Systems Private Limited from January 2000 to October 2002. Throughout their career, they have made notable contributions, including ramping up team sizes, implementing Virtual HR systems, and conducting compensation and wage benchmarking surveys.

Shankar Anappindi completed an MBA in Human Resource Management from Osmania University in the years 1997-1999. Shankar then pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations (PMIR) from Andhra University, which they completed in 2002. In terms of additional certifications, Shankar obtained certifications such as "Google Ads Fundamentals" from Google in June 2019, "Certified Professional Story Teller" from Kathalaya in 2015, and "Certified Trainer" from The Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD) in 2005. Furthermore, Shankar recently obtained the "Verified International Academic Qualifications" certification from the World Education Services in the year 2020.
