Sandeep Kumar

Sandeep Kumar has an extensive work experience in various managerial roles. Sandeep has served as the Managing Director for Tata Steel Downstream Products Limited since January 2023. Prior to that, they held the same position at Tata Metaliks Ltd from July 2017 to October 2022. Before that, they worked at Tata Steel India as Executive In Charge of the Industrial By-Products Management Division from October 2012 to March 2017. Sandeep also served as the Managing Director for S&T Mining Company Pvt Ltd from October 2008 to September 2012.

Sandeep Kumar's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad in 1987 to 1991. Sandeep also obtained a Post Graduate degree in International Trade from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade in 1993 to 1994. In 1999, they attended Leeds University Business School on a Managers for Leadership British Chevening scholarship, where they studied Business Administration and Management. Sandeep also completed a General Management Programme in Leadership at CEDEP - Executive Development - Fontainebleau in 2017.
