Abhishek Kumar Patra

Abhishek Kumar Patra is an experienced IT professional currently serving as Senior Manager and previously as Manager in IT Transformation Technology at Tata Steel since August 2022, specializing in SAP ABAP, SAP BODS, GCP, BigQuery, SQL, .NET, C#, React, and JavaScript. Key achievements include contributing to the S4Hana 2021 upgrade and developing a prototype bus management system named DigiYaan during the role of Management Trainee Systems. Abhishek also gained experience as a Six Sigma Project Intern at IIChE TIET, where critical-to-quality factors were identified to enhance bakery processes, and as a Research Intern at Indian Railways, conducting analysis on the use of plastic-based concrete in railway sleepers. Abhishek holds a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Anthropology from Indira Gandhi National Open University.
