Dick Booijen

Dick Booijen has extensive experience in the steel industry, currently serving as General Manager at Tata Steel since January 2014, after previously holding the position of Works Engineer. Prior to this, Dick Booijen was Maintenance Manager at Tata Steel Europe, responsible for the maintenance of critical operations within the Direct Sheet Plant from March 2009 to December 2013. Dick Booijen also held the role of Groupleader Technical Consultancy at Corus IJmuiden from October 2005 to February 2009 and worked as a Quantity Surveyor at Rijkswaterstaat from 1999 to 2004. Earlier in the career, Dick Booijen was a Surveyor at Witteveen + Bos from 1994 to 1999. Educational qualifications were obtained from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
