Dwaipayan Das

Dwaipayan Das is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in operations and supply chain management, currently serving as the Executive Assistant to the CEO & MD at Tata Steel since August 2023. Prior to this role, Dwaipayan held several positions within Tata Steel, including Senior Procurement Manager at Tata Steel Global Wires and Manager of Shipping Operations, where responsibilities included managing shipping operations for inbound shipments of approximately 20 million tons. Dwaipayan began a career in supply chain management as an intern at Tata Steel, gaining insight into cost structure optimization. Previous experience includes a role as Assistant Manager at Vedanta Limited, focusing on maintenance and inventory management, as well as a project trainee position at Tata Motors. Dwaipayan holds an MBA from Xavier Institute of Management and a BE from Manipal Institute of Technology.
