Goutam Ghosh

Goutam Ghosh is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the refractories sector, currently serving as Sr. Manager for Iron Making Refractories and Refractory Technology Group at Tata Steel since January 2011. In this role within the Technology and New Materials Business, Goutam Ghosh provides services aimed at improving high-temperature materials across multiple locations, including Jamshedpur, Kalinganagar, and Angul. Prior to Tata Steel, Goutam Ghosh worked as Production Manager at TRL KROSAKI Refractories Limited, overseeing a production facility with a capacity of 5000 tons per month and managing a team of over 100 employees. Goutam Ghosh began a professional journey with an internship at H & R JOHNSON TILES LIMITED. Academically, Goutam Ghosh holds a PGDM in Marketing & Strategy from XLRI Jamshedpur and an Engineer’s Degree in Ceramic Sciences and Engineering from the University College of Science and Technology, alongside a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Ramakrishna Mission Residential College.
