Pankaj Satija

Pankaj Satija has extensive experience in the steel and mining industries, currently serving as Executive In Charge and Managing Director at Tata Steel since December 2021. Previously, Pankaj held various leadership roles at Tata Steel from September 2002 to October 2021, including Chief Regulatory Affairs and General Manager of FAMD and OMQ. Pankaj's career began at Sesa Goa as a Mining Engineer from 1994 to 2002. Pankaj's educational background includes a B.Tech in Mining from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, a Master of Ecology & Environment from the Indian Institute of Ecology & Environment, and continued executive education at CEDEP - Executive Development in Fontainebleau. In recent years, Pankaj participated in the XLRI Jamshedpur program and the Lead - Inspiring Leaders for a Sustainable World initiative.
