Prasenjit Sinha

Prasenjit Sinha is an experienced professional in the field of predictive maintenance and electrical engineering. Currently serving as the Head of Predictive Maintenance at Tata Steel since April 2012, Prasenjit has been instrumental in the conceptualization and development of the Integrated Maintenance Excellence Centre, focusing on the central diagnostic and monitoring of capital-intensive assets. Previously held positions include Senior Manager of Central Maintenance Planning and Manager of IEM Long Product Mill at Tata Steel, and Sr Officer Electrical at Linde, responsible for maintenance of high-capacity motors and systems. Prasenjit’s career began at Hindalco Industries Limited, where responsibilities included the commissioning and maintenance of steam turbines and boilers. Academically, Prasenjit is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in IoT-based Condition Monitoring at the National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur, holding a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology and a PGDBA in Operation & Maintenance Management from Sikkim Manipal University.
