Sajat Happy

Sajat Happy is a Senior Manager at Tata Steel since July 2020, leading a team responsible for Billet Conditioning, Pre and Re Heating Furnaces, and maintenance programs. Previously, Sajat served as an Engineer at Tata Steel Long Products Limited, focusing on maintenance scheduling and compliance. Early career experience includes a Graduate Engineer Trainee role at Usha Martin Limited, where observations of steel-making processes were made, alongside contributions to a power distribution project. Sajat also pursued automation roles at Hil Limited and participated in PLC industrial automation during training at the Central Tool Room & Training Centre. Sajat's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology and a postgraduate degree in Operations Management and Supervision from All India Management Association, expected to be completed in July 2024.
