David Walden

David Walden is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in estates management and project oversight. Since April 2016, Walden has served as Senior Estates Manager at Tate, where responsibilities include managing utilities and daily operations across various Tate locations. Prior to this, Walden worked as a Project Manager for SPIE UK at Tate from December 2012 to January 2016, overseeing diverse projects at the Tate Modern Gallery. Previously, Walden held the position of Engineering Senior Supervisor at SPIE UK at SGCIB (January 2010 - December 2012), managing sub-contractors and in-house engineering teams. As an Electrical Supervisor for Norland Managed Services (May 2008 - December 2009), Walden supervised maintenance teams at Selfridges Oxford Street. Walden's career began as a Shift Leader at Lafarge Cement (January 1997 - April 2008), overseeing production teams. Educated at North West Kent College of Tech, Walden holds an Engineer's degree in Electrical/Electronics Maintenance and Repair Technology.
