Sonya Meloff

Sonya Meloff is a Canadian entrepreneur and business executive. Sonya is the co-founder of Sales Talent Agency, Inc. and The Great Canadian Sales Competition.

Sonya began their career in sales and recruitment in 1999 with the London-based firm Hays. Sonya later moved to Vancouver and joined Ian Martin Group as a recruitment consultant. In 2002, they were recruited by Bernard Hodes Group to help launch their new Canadian office as Director of New Business.

In 2004, Sonya joined Monster.com as Director of Enterprise Sales. During their time at Monster, they were responsible for growing the company's Canadian business from $4 million to $16 million in annual revenue.

In 2007, Sonya left Monster to start their own sales talent agency, which quickly became one of the leading firms in Canada specializing in sales recruitment and training.

In 2014, Sonya co-founded The Great Canadian Sales Competition, which quickly became the largest student sales competition in Canada. The Competition is designed to help university and college students develop an important skill-set --> sales, promote corporate sales as a high-potential career path, and introduce young people to some amazing and highly successful potential employers that they would not typically get an opportunity to interact with and learn about.

Under Sonya's leadership, The Great Canadian Sales Competition has engaged competitors from 60+ universities and colleges across Canada. The Competition has been featured in major news outlets such as CBC, CTV, Global

Sonya Meloff has a MA in Public Administration from Carleton University and a BA in Political Science & Economics from the University of Calgary. Sonya also attended Western Canada Highschool.
