Alissa McGrisken

Alissa McGrisken has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Alissa currently holds the position of Director of Enrollment and Financial Assistance at The Tatnall School, a role they have been in since October 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Interim Director of Enrollment and Financial Assistance at the same school from May 2023 to October 2023. From June 2022 to May 2023, they worked as the Director of Family Engagement at The Tatnall School. Before joining The Tatnall School, Alissa was an Associate Director of Enrollment and Financial Assistance at The Tatnall School from July 2019 to May 2023.

Prior to their time at The Tatnall School, Alissa worked as the Director of Admissions at Saint Mark's High School from August 2016 to July 2019. Alissa also served as a Math Teacher at Serviam Girls Academy from August 2015 to August 2016.

Alissa's early career includes roles at the University of Delaware - English Language Institute, where they worked as a Curriculum Developer from August 2014 to August 2015 and as an Instructor from August 2013 to August 2015. Alissa also worked as an Early College Advisor and Student Opportunities Coordinator at New York Harbor School from September 2011 to August 2013. Their early experience also includes an admissions role at SUNY Maritime College from May 2009 to July 2010.

Alissa McGrisken earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marine Transportation from the State University of New York Maritime College from 2002 to 2006. Alissa later pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Educational Psychology at Capella University from 2010 to 2013.
