Jan Musil

Jan Musil has a diverse work experience in various roles. Jan started their career at Y Soft in 2007 as a Quality Engineer, where they verified all range of Y Soft products, prepared test environments, troubleshooted incidents, and wrote technical documentation. Jan then worked as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer from 2009 to 2012. In this role, they continued their verification and testing duties and also provided internal training and mentoring. From 2012 to 2015, Jan served as a Test Lead/Release Manager, coordinating testing and QA activities, planning testing activities, and overseeing release management. Jan then became an Engineering Team Lead/Release Manager from 2015 to 2017, taking on additional responsibilities for performance testing, performance analysis, and capacity planning. In 2017, Jan joined Simplity as an Operations Manager. In this role, they were responsible for various activities and departments including customer support, DevOps, and quality management. Jan'sresponsibilities included defining department strategies, process flows, and quality standards, as well as hiring and test automation. From 2019 to 2022, they also served as an Internal Auditor for ISO 27001/9001 at Simplity. Jan's most recent work experience is as the Head of Quality at Tatum, starting in 2023.

Jan Musil has a diverse education history. Jan attended Technician Secondary school of Engineering from 1999 to 2003, where they completed a degree in General Engineering. Following this, Jan enrolled at the English Language school of dr. Jilek from 2003 to 2004 to further their English language skills. Jan then pursued higher education at Brno University of Technology, where they studied General Engineering from 2004 to 2005, earning another degree. Additionally, Jan has obtained several certifications, including Information security management system (ISO/IEC 27001:2013) from Systémy jakosti s.r.o. in January 2022 and Internal ISO Auditor (ISO 9001) from the same institution in December 2021. Jan also holds an ISTQB Foundation Level certification, although the details of its institution and completion date are unknown.
