Chris Thomas

Chris Thomas is an experienced project management professional with a strong background in infrastructure and building construction. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Tauranga City Council since May 2017, Chris has overseen various infrastructure projects. Prior to this role, Chris held the position of Senior Project Manager at N-Compass Project Managers from February 2014 to April 2017, representing clients on diverse building projects. Chris also gained expertise as Principal Engineer - Investigation & Design at Auckland Transport from November 2010 to January 2014, notably facilitating a significant $20 million road construction agreement. Earlier career experience includes serving as Strategic Projects Manager at North Shore City Council between February 2005 and October 2010. Academic credentials include a BSc in Engineering from the University of Natal, Durban.
