Conor McLoughlin-Ware

Conor McLoughlin-Ware is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in road network management and contract supervision. Currently serving as a Senior Area Road Engineer at Tauranga City Council since December 2022, Conor oversees the Tauranga Road Maintenance Contract, focusing on customer service, asset management, and capital program delivery. Prior roles include Road Network Engineer at WSP in New Zealand, where responsibilities encompassed contract management and project delivery for local authorities, and Network Supervisor for Christchurch City Council, managing day-to-day maintenance issues and asset inspections. Conor began a career in engineering with a diploma from Otago Polytechnic, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Human Geography and Political Studies from the University of Otago.
