Sarishka Gandi

Sarishka Gandi is a highly experienced Senior Traffic and Safety Engineer at Tauranga City Council since February 2022, specializing in traffic safety inputs for infrastructure projects and speed management. Previously, as a Traffic Engineer at Auckland Council, Sarishka implemented policies from the Auckland Unitary Plan, conducted peer reviews of Traffic Impact Assessments, and integrated road safety approaches into new developments. At Harrison Grierson, as a Transportation Engineer, responsibilities included traffic impact assessments, pavement design, and road safety audits, following a move from India to New Zealand. Sarishka's earlier roles involved transportation engineering and project management at SriCity and focus on geometric design at both Sri City Integrated Business City and Bus Rapid Transit System. Education includes a Master’s degree in Transportation and Highway Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from GITAM Deemed University.
