Tom Wallace

Tom Wallace is a seasoned professional in the field of cybersecurity, currently serving as the Technical Lead for Security at Tauranga City Council since January 2025. Prior to this role, Tom held multiple positions at Tribe in New Zealand, including Cyber Security Operations Manager and Technical Operations - Security Specialist, from February 2020 to January 2025. Tom's earlier experience includes working as a Specialist in Defence and Threat Disruption at IAG from August 2017 to November 2019 and as a Truck Driver at Provida Foods from January 2014 to January 2015. Additionally, Tom worked as a Summer Research Assistant at the University of Waikato in late 2013. Tom holds a Bachelor's degree with Honours in Computing and Mathematical Science, specializing in Computer Science, from the University of Waikato, completed in 2015.
