Omer Faruk Okuyan is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in both embedded and application layer software development. Currently employed at Taurob since August 2024, Omer previously held positions at LA2 DYNAMICS Mühendislik A.Ş, where responsibilities included integrating and optimizing control algorithms for quadruped robots, along with developing navigation stacks and GUI designs. Omer's technical expertise encompasses C++, Python, Linux, and the Robot Operating System (ROS), along with substantial embedded systems knowledge, particularly in STM32 architectures and real-time software design. Prior positions include contributions to the ITU Rover Team, BVK Technology, and internships at İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi and Statik Otomasyon. Omer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Control and Automation Engineering from Istanbul Technical University.

Taurob
Taurob develops and offers fully autonomous ground robots for routine operations and inspection on industrial sites. Our robots can perform missions under harsh environmental conditions (e.g. rain, cold, explosive gas) and gather video, audio and sensor data. This data is transmitted in real time to the cloud where it is further analysed and processed (e.g. detection of gas leaks or corrosion degradation).
