Jannes van Weele

Jannes van Weele is an accomplished ecologist currently working at TAUW Nederland since September 2023. Jannes gained significant experience as a trainee at Witteveen+Bos, where the master’s thesis focused on the utility and functionality of the ecohydrological model, Waterwijzer Natuur (version 3), commissioned by Provincie Overijssel. Prior to this, Jannes spent nearly three years at Albert Heijn Online, progressing from a delivery driver to a trainer and process facilitator, while also serving as a competition commissioner for the student cycling association USWV De Domrenner. Early career experience at Albert Heijn involved inventory management. Jannes holds a Master's degree in Water Science and Management and a Bachelor's degree in Earth Sciences from Utrecht University, complemented by academic achievement from Stedelijk Gymnasium Breda.
