Jelmer Dijkstra

Jelmer Dijkstra is an expert in water safety and water engineering, currently serving as an advisor at Tauw Nederland since October 2019, where the focus is on flood risk assessment and the protection of dikes and water barriers. Prior to this role, Jelmer completed an internship in river and coastal engineering at Royal HaskoningDHV from October 2018 to July 2019, where advancements were made on a tool for generating flood maps, specifically studying the Ayeyarwady River in Myanmar. Educational accomplishments include a Bachelor's and Master's degree from the University of Twente, following a VWO diploma from Etty Hillesum Lyceum.
