Leon Droppert

Leon Droppert has extensive experience in urban water management and climate adaptation, currently serving as Project Leader for Urban Water & Climate Adaptation and Advisor for Urban Water & Sewage at Tauw Nederland since February 2008. Key contributions include involvement in multiple basic sewage plans, optimization studies of wastewater systems, and the development of the Wateroverlastlandschapskaart. Prior roles include advisory positions for the municipalities of Eindhoven and Helmond, focusing on the updating of sewage plans and addressing extreme rainfall through pilot projects. Additional experience spans various roles in different companies from 1998 to 2008, and an internship at Waterschap Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. Leon Droppert holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aquatic Ecotechnology from HZ University of Applied Sciences and has completed additional training at Stichting Wateropleidingen.
