Renze Haitsma is an experienced spatial development advisor currently working at Tauw Nederland since September 2016, where responsibilities include project coordination within the Water & Nature department, managing various projects in the green-blue domain and serving as a central figure across multiple specialties. Prior experience includes an internship at Tauw, assisting in writing proposals and environmental impact reports, and conducting a master's thesis project for Delta Alliance, focused on developing a method for monitoring flood resilience in delta cities. Additionally, Renze contributed to establishing a community garden as a member of the Solidez working group and served as Praeses for the Vereniging van Gereformeerde Studenten te Wageningen, overseeing organizational responsibilities for the student association. Educational qualifications encompass a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture and Spatial Planning from Wageningen University & Research.
