Katia Moraes

Katia Moraes has extensive work experience in procurement and supply chain management. Katia currently holds the position of Corporate Director of Procurement at Tavistock Development Company since November 2019. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Purchasing at Morbark, LLC from April 2017 to October 2019. Before that, Katia was the Director of Global Strategic Sourcing at Whirlpool Corporation from January 2014 to April 2017. Katia oversaw a global team and managed an annual spend of over $1.3 billion. From April 2006 to March 2013, they served as the Vice President Supply Chain at Diversified Machine Inc. (DMI)/SMW Automotive, where they were responsible for global supply chain, inventory, and procurement operations.

Katia Moraes has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica - ITA. Katia also holds a Master of Business Administration - MBA degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Walsh College.
