TUHIN DAS, Ph.D.

TUHIN DAS, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of biotherapeutics, cancer drug discovery, and research. In 2021, they began working as a Research and Development Scientist in Cancer Drug Discovery at Quanta Therapeutics. In 2020, they were a Research Scientist and R&D Product Manager at RayBiotech Life, Inc., where they developed Spike-ACE2, Spike-NRP1, and Spike-AXL Binding Assay tools to accelerate COVID-19 vaccine development. From 2018 to 2020, they were a Visiting Research Scientist and Adjunct Assistant Professor at The City University of New York. In 2018, they also began working as an Adjunct Faculty at Fordham University. Starting in 2020, they became a Member of the Editorial Board at https://www.cientperiodique.com/journal/editorboard/medicine. Additionally, from 2015 to 2016, they were a Consulting Editor at https://www.dovepress.com/breast-cancer---targets-and-therapy-journal and a Reviewer at http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/journal/10.1002/(ISSN)1097-0215 and http://www.rsc.org/journals-books-databases/about-journals/journal-of-materials-chemistry-b/. In 2022, TUHIN DAS, Ph.D. will begin working as a Sr. Research Scientist at Tavotek Biotherapeutics, and in 2023 they will become an Adjunct Professor at Temple University.

Tuhin Das, Ph.D. has an extensive education background. TUHIN obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry from the University of Calcutta and their Master's Degree in Biochemistry from the same university. In 2013, they were certified in Bio Statistics Course from the Department of Biostatistics at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Fl, USA. In 2014, they attended a Workshop in Bio-MEMS, biomaterials, bioreactors and tissue engineering, regenerative medicine at Harvard/MIT. In 2016, they completed two elective courses through the Clinical and Translational Science Center (CTSC) - Weill Cornell, one in Genomics Workshop and one in Nano-biotechnology. Finally, in 2017, they completed two CTSC E-Learning Courseworks, one in Drug Development and Pharmacology and one in Principles of Clinical Research and Design.
