Kris Wood

Co-founder at Tavros Therapeutics

Kris Wood is an accomplished academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the fields of pharmacology and cancer biology. Currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Cancer Biology at Duke University since July 2012, Kris previously held the position of Assistant Professor. In addition to academic roles, Kris is a co-founder of multiple organizations, including Tavros Therapeutics, Element Genomics, Inc., and Celldom, Inc., all contributing to advancements in biomedical research. Prior to these ventures, Kris completed a NIH Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research from July 2007 to July 2012, following a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology completed in 2007.
