Makenzie Zuern

Makenzie Zuern is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in tax management and compliance across various companies. Currently serving as Vice President of Tax at CarepathRx since January 2022, Zuern previously held roles such as Tax Director at Paymentus and UnitedHealth Group. Notably, at UnitedHealth Group, Zuern led a satellite tax team and managed tax diligence for acquisitions. Zuern also established the Tax Department at Genoa Healthcare, facilitating successful transitions and compliance with tax regulations. Experienced in both corporate tax strategy and operations, Zuern has held leadership positions within the Tax Executives Institute, including Chapter Officer and committee roles focused on corporate tax management and mentoring. Zuern holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Oregon.
