Rune Mai

Rune Mai is an experienced entrepreneur and investor with a strong background in technology and finance. Currently serving as an Angel Investor and Board Member at Heartwood Nordic, Rune is also involved with several other ventures, including TaxHelper, Leagues.gg, Shouter, Clever Cost, and Valified. Previous roles include Senior Vice President at Mastercard, where responsibilities encompassed Open Banking in Europe, and CEO & Co-founder of Aiia, which provided unified API access for banks in Northern Europe. Additionally, Rune co-founded Spiir A/S, a platform focused on personal finance management. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Aarhus University and training in systemic leadership.
