Reece Chittenden has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2015, Reece worked as a Summer Intern at RCL Foods. In 2016, Reece served as an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Cape Town, specializing in Mergers Acquisition and Management Accounting. Following that, Reece joined Roosta Media as a Strategy professional from January 2017 to February 2018.

Reece then transitioned to KPMG South Africa, where they were an Advisory Consultant trainee from January 2017 to November 2018. Subsequently, Reece became a Supervisor Corporate Transaction Specialist at KPMG South Africa from December 2018 to January 2020.

In 2020, Reece joined CrossCountry Consulting as a Senior Consulting Manager from January 2020 to June 2020. Reece also joined Taxfix in June 2020 as a Strategic Finance Manager, responsible for Corporate Finance transactions and Business Development across three European countries.

In 2022, Reece assumed the role of Startup Mentor at Techstars, mentoring early-stage founders in the Audi Pre-Acceleration program. Reece provided guidance on topics such as Fundraising, Product, Commercial Development, and International Expansion.

Lastly, Reece returned to Taxfix in May 2022, taking on the role of Senior Global Expansion Manager. In this role, Reece managed a product team, conducted country research, synthesized investment cases, and oversaw the setup of new operations and legal partnerships.

Overall, Reece Chittenden has gained extensive experience in strategy, business development, finance, consulting, mentoring, and academia throughout their career.

Reece Chittenden completed a Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) Accreditation from the Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI) in 2020. Reece also holds a Masters of Commerce (M.Com.) degree from the University of Cape Town, which they earned in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor of Business Science (BBusSci), specializing in Accounting and Finance, from the University of Cape Town from 2012 to 2015. Reece completed their high school education at Michaelhouse from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their academic qualifications, Reece has several additional certifications including a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 2 Examination from the CFA Institute obtained in 2019, an Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) from SAICA CA(SA) obtained in 2019, and an Initial Test of Competence (ITC) from SAICA CA(SA) obtained in 2017.
