Michael Brooks Stackhouse

Michael Brooks Stackhouse has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Michael Brooks is currently working as a Privacy and Compliance Manager at TaxSlayer, starting in April 2023. Prior to this, they were a Business Analytics Lead at PNC, starting in August 2022 and leaving in April 2023.

From November 2018 to August 2022, Stackhouse worked at Bank of America, holding the position of VP, Global Compliance and Operational Risk. Before this role, they served as an Intelligence Analyst on the global intelligence team, providing analysis on geopolitical, civil unrest, terrorism, and crime risks outside the U.S., starting in August 2016 and ending in November 2018.

Michael Brooks'sfield of study included Political Science and Computer Applications, making him an interdisciplinary technology and business major. Following their undergraduate studies, Michael enrolled in the University of Florida - Fredric G. Levin College of Law from 2007 to 2009, earning a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law.

In addition to their formal education, Michael has obtained various certifications. Michael Brooks became a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPPUS) through the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in December 2022. Michael Brooks also obtained the IBM Cybersecurity Analyst Certificate from Coursera in January 2021. More recently, in January 2023, Michael achieved certifications as a OneTrust Certified Privacy Professional from OneTrust and a PrivacyOps Certification from Securiti.
