David Judd

David Judd has extensive experience in various roles spanning several decades. Currently serving in Research and Development at Taylor Guitars since September 1991, David has a diverse background that includes working as a Chaplain at Descanso Detention Facility from July 1989 to July 2009, where responsibilities involved teaching Bible studies and ministering to inmates. Prior to that, David held positions as a tool and die maker at Alts Tool and Machine and as a machinist at The Wright Place. An earlier period as a self-employed individual involved guitar-making and various unconventional activities. David's career began in customer service at Hinkle Lumber and Hardware and as a grave digger at Alpine Cemetery. David attended San Diego City College from 1973 to 1975.
