Matthew Skinner

Matthew Skinner has extensive experience in drafting, particularly in the area of piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) within the petroleum and engineering sectors. Currently serving as Drafter IV at Taylor & Hill since February 2018, Matthew focuses on updating P&IDs for Marathon Petroleum. Previous experience includes roles at Plant Engineering Services LLC, where Matthew worked on the PSI Project and provided contract services for British Petroleum, and at Strategy Engineering and Consulting, where collaboration with engineers and consultants led to the development of P&IDs for various clients. Matthew's foundational work in drafting began at Ventech Engineers International, contributing to refinery relocation projects. Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Process Piping and Design and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology from the University of Houston-Downtown.
